English Camp in Germany, August 3-22
Summer Team Information

Bishop Gerhard Meyer and family live on a beautiful spot called the Knuell Camp (pictured at right). Every summer, as a ministry, the Meyers invite German young people to what is called “English Camp.”

Plans are underway for the summer 2008 English Camp. Bishop Meyer is looking for young people from 16 to 30 years old to serve as Summer Team Members. (Note: US teens as young as 14 may register as campers.) The theme of this year's camp is “Camp of BasicsLearning from the Patriarchs.” Besides Bishop Gerhard and Grace Meyer, camp leaders will include the Rev. Steve and Sue Rutt of St. Andrew's Church and Andrewes Hall seminary in Phoenix. AZ.

Team members will have much contact with German youth, worshipping, working, sharing meals and leisure time, sports, swimming, music, and drama. There are many opportunities to use whatever gifts God has given you to encourage and disciple German young people. After English Camp ends, Bishop Meyer will lead a 4-day tour of southern Germany.

The deadline to apply as a Summer Team member is January 31, 2008. For full information about the costs and other requirements for Summer Team members, please download the following files:
