Dear Prayer Partners, Last Friday we got an SOS message via Facebook: a young pastor we know in France was planning a church-wide inventory of needs and gifts when he discovered that the resource material he had planned using (starting on Pentecost Sunday) was no longer available in France. The two of us spent a couple hours searching on the Internet and consulting with him via Skype, looking for replacement material. We were able to network through him with three other French pastors with the result that his church had something to use and could go ahead with their project last Sunday. This young pastor had originally contacted an older pastor for help who sent him across the ocean to us as resource persons. This morning he again chatted by Skype to let us know that the program is working and he will have results to report by June 20. Mission accomplished! God has given us these wonderful networks of people along with the necessary technological tools to be able to serve in this way. It takes time to build those networks of acquaintance and trust, and we are thrilled to be able to use them to build the Church! This is just the most recent example of how we can still minister to the Church, in France and elsewhere, between deputation visits from our base here in the US. You may not always be aware of it, but you are a key part of these networks. Your prayers, your encouragement, and your financial support make it possible for us to maintain and further develop this kind of service. Thank you! Please note that we are still available for deputation visits for a few dates over the summer. We do plan to be back in Europe for several special ministries in the fall.
