Ministry Report from Brazil: 24 April 2012

Just a note to say that our house is slowly getting more and more empty each day. We will be having someone come to look at it sometime this week. He has been on vacation and expressed an interest before leaving. It would be nice if he bought the house.

If we don’t have a buyer now then we will prepare to go to the states and leave in May. Friends of ours that are missionaries will be living here until it does sell and paying a minimal rent which will help them out and help us out at the same time.

I will be living in Rapids City, Illinois, and am looking forward to that, right next to the Post Office so if you come to visit it won’t be hard to find, just off Route 80. It is very close to my sister and a nephew and big enough to have guests. I will be making a quick trip to the east to pick up all my stored stuff in various places. I will be needing a truck to move it all and for the best rate it has to be done in 5 days. After that trip both Cathie and I will take a calmer trip to the east, (hopefully the snow will be gone). We will be able to spend a bit of time with you all in the east and family that is in New York as well. We hope to settle in at my house before leaving on that trip and just take it easy.

Time is speeding by and each day it seems like we hardly make a dent in things that have to be done. I will be needing a car soon after arriving. My nephew and sister are really working on the house and making it really nice. I will have to buy a few things to set up house-keeping but I can usually go through a store at 60 MPH and get things done pretty fast. I am a good shopper and fast. Looking online for things so I can just go and get what is needed.

This is another big step in my life. I ask for your prayers and that all will come together well physically, emotionally and spiritually.
